My best friends, back in the day.
So, I'm in California now! I am pretty excited about it! However, I know that I am going to miss my girls from back home! These girls have helped me through a HORRIBLE marriage, a divorce, counseling, a chocolate business, a rocky relationship, boot camp, MCT, MOS schooling, doctor visits and so much more! We have seen each other through heartache, headache, stress, hate, love, tears of joy, tears of pain, tears of sorrow, lost grandparents, found loves, unrequited loves, sin, addiction, WAY too old guys, WAY too young guys, hopes, fears, dreams, crazy ex boyfriends, ugly ex husbands, dogs, cats, arch rivals, boot camp and soon to be MCT and MOS school. I love my girls more than anyone ever could and I know they love me, too. I know, without a shadow of a doubt that any one of my friends would take a bullet for me and I would do the same thing for any of them. Love isn't always a lot of work... Sometimes love just finds you, picks you up and holds you close, until you can stand on your own. I want to think my little sisters for doing that for me. Now, it's my turn to hold you girls up. I love you all very much and my life would never have been the same without you. You girls are the ones that I will have for my whole life and I couldn't be more thankful for you. I love you.
Xoxo -
Jessica
My best friends today, forever and always.

Goodness gracious! This moving thing is scary and stressful! I just got off the phone with Orion. He and I had to do a lot of paperwork in order to get me moved there and everything. It looks as if I will be leaving on Sunday or Monday...
It is difficult, on this day.... One of my Facebook friends has lost her Marine. He stepped on an IED in Afghanistan and fought for his life, only to pay the ultimate sacrifice. My prayers go out to Katie Sheldon and the family of LCPL Honeycutt. He is truly an American Hero and I will keep you all in my prayers for comfort and peace in this horrible time of pain.
Ladies, hold your beloved close and tell them how much you love them, Marine or not. We are not guaranteed the next breath. Remember that. Say what you mean and how you feel. You may not get another chance...
Many prayers....

My Goodness. I can't believe it is almost 2:30am! I didn't wake up until 3:30pm, so it still seems early. I was up until 5:30am yesterday, watching one of our local B&Bs get investigated by the St. Louis Ghost Hunter Society. It was pretty cool! I'm glad they had a live feed on the internet equipped with a chat feature so we could ask questions and they would answer us on camera. Pretty neat!
When I finally dragged myself out of bed, I talked to Orion on the phone. This whole moving thing is making me stressed out. He graduates from his MOS schooling on November 3rd.... What's going to happen if we don't have the money to do everything we need to do? Where is he going to stay? What if we don't have the money for a deposit on a place? If he does go somewhere... He won't have anything to eat or cook because I have everything with me... I guess I just don't know what is going to happen. And, I hate that. He is supposed to get leave as soon as he can and come get me... But, we need to fix our car before it will make it all that way. I need to get the dog updated on his shots... I need to change my license and SS card to my married name. So much to do in so little time with so little money! I'm definitely not having a good time with this. Yikes!
Since we will be moving away from both of our families, I have decided to make wish list registries on Walmart.com and Target.com, that way nobody has to call and ask us what we need for Christmas! However, if any of you are reading this, we are saving our money for this bed! Feel free to donate to THAT fund! :)
Well, it's off to bed for me! Xoxo!

Romeo being Romeo. Shakespeare looks on. :)
Today, I am sitting on the couch, watching Dexter. Yesterday, my dog ate a whole bag of chocolate chips, a piece of pizza and a Nutrigrain Bar while I was out of the room... So, he was up last night, pacing because his belly was hurting, I'm sure. Drove me crazy. Last night, after my dog ate everything, but before the pacing, I went to the Desoto High School play, "Drop Dead, Juliet". It was pretty good! I was there, taking pictures of them getting their make-up on and being nervous before they went on. This play was Romeo and Juliet, but this time, Juliet didn't want to die, so she wanted to change the story where nobody dies and all the boys are girls and she and Romeo live happily ever after. Well, once she changed it, Romeo stays in love with Rosaline and doesn't like Juliet. Tybalt and Mercutio still die, Romeo is still banished... It sucks for Juliet. So, it was a good time. Especially because I know the guys who played Romeo and Shakespeare. Juliet's Dagger with Romeo's mask
Romeo, daydreaming about Rosaline while Shakespeare and Juliet chat.
Nerves before going on, with Juliet's dagger.
